A 60ft long custom, hand painted mural that spans from the interior dining room to the exterior terrace — a first of its kind open air terrace overlooking the tarmac at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta GA.

Knowing who to work with to create high quality substrates and installations is important to delivering a quality and durable project every time. Thankfully I know who to trust to make my work and your projects SHINE!

process

This mural is unique because the interior portions are painted on removable panels! The custom made wood panels are specially designed to fit the space perfectly and to interlock in such a way that it appears to be one continuous wall.

This allowed me to paint in the studio, and for the client to have the option to remove the panels if ever a move was in their future.

Considering every element in the design of the project is essential to creating a custom piece that fist perfectly and ties the whole space together. I was tasked with creating a work that exemplified what Atlanta is known for: being “The city in the trees” —and I am proud, as a native Atlantan, to have done just that!
